The first semester is a study of the principles of chemistry, including basic concepts, atomic structure, energy, relationships, periodicity, bonding, gases, liquids, and solids. Laboratory is coordinated with lecture. (3 hours lecture/3 hours lab.) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
