The Registrar’s Office will send transcripts to your designated school(s). If you have any questions about the status of a transcript request, please contact the Registrar’s Office at 860.253.3017.
  • Upon receipt of the application and transcripts, courses are evaluated to determine which satisfy the school’s General Education Requirements (GERs), major, and elective requirements. All courses are accepted for transfer credit at the discretion of the receiving school.

Transferring IN credits from other schools or from prior learning to Asnuntuck:

  • TRANSFER IN: If you are looking to transfer in credit from another school, you must complete a Transfer Credit Application Form and turn it into the Admissions Office. For credit to be granted requires a passing grade of C- or better, and for the completed courses to be relevant to the curriculum of the program of study that you seek to enroll in. If you are seeking to transfer in credit from high school or from other prior learning, go to Credit For Prior Learning to learn about the forms of prior learning Asnuntuck Community College accepts for credit.

Request an official transcript from each institution from which you are asking for a credit evaluation. Transcripts should be sent to the Admissions Office, Asnuntuck Community College, 170 Elm St. Enfield, CT 06082. Once your Transcript Credit Application Form and official transcripts are received, an Admissions staff member will complete an official credit evaluation.
