CT State – Asnuntuck Commencement 2024
Below are the plans for the CT State – Asnuntuck Campus Commencement Ceremony for December 2023 graduates and May 2024 candidates for graduation. Keep checking this website and your college email for additional announcements.
Where: Dunkin’ Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats – 1214 Main Street, Hartford, CT
When: Thursday, May 23, 2024
- Graduates should arrive no later than 5PM for check-in and line up
- The Ceremony Procession begins promptly at 6PM
How:
- April 15th Graduation Application Deadline: Students seeking to graduate in May (or August grads seeking to participate in the May ceremony) must submit their online Graduation Application no later than 4/15/2024. (NO exceptions)
- A separate application must be submitted for each degree or certificate you plan to complete.
- Questions? Contact your campus’s One Stop Enrollment Center or your Degree Auditor if you have questions.
- Students whose graduation applications are accepted will be contacted via college email with additional details such as:
- Cap, Gown, & Ticket Pick-up: Caps and gowns will be available for pick-up at CT State-Asnuntuck’s Follett Bookstore in Enfield.
- Those participating in Commencement may pick-up caps and gowns on the following days and times:
- May 6th 9:30-3:45pm
- May 7th thru May 9th 9:30-4:45pm
- May 10th 9-2:45pm
- May 11th 10-2pm (Special Saturday Hours)
- May 13th 9:30-4:45pm
- May 14th thru May 16th 9:30-3:45pm
- May 17th 9-12:45pm
- May 20th 9:30-4:45pm
- May 21st 9:30-4:45pm
- Each graduate receives a packet of 10 tickets for guests.
- Tickets are required for entrance into the park and cannot be replaced. *Children 3 years of age and under may be admitted without a ticket.
- Parking Voucher: Each graduate will receive 2 parking vouchers.
- Directions to Dunkin’ Park will be provided and are also at on this webpage (scroll down).
- Parking vouchers should be treated like cash and cannot be replaced.
- You must provide a photo ID (license, state issued ID or Student ID) when picking up your cap & gown.
- You MUST pick up your cap and gown no later than (deadline TBD).

- Those participating in Commencement may pick-up caps and gowns on the following days and times:
- Cap, Gown, & Ticket Pick-up: Caps and gowns will be available for pick-up at CT State-Asnuntuck’s Follett Bookstore in Enfield.
- Special Accommodations: If you require disability accommodations for the ceremony, please contact Jillian Sullivan at JSullivan@acc.commnet.edu or at 860-253-3005 as soon as possible.
- Graduation Day: Thursday, May 23rd
- Please don’t forget:
- Have footware appropriate to walking the baseball field. (i.e., No spike heels)
- Bring sunglasses, any medications, etc. you may need.
- 5:00 PM – Graduates arrive by this time to check in and line up in preparation for the 6PM processional that begins the ceremony.
- Honor Cords: Students graduating with a 3.4 GPA or higher in a degree program will receive a gold honor cord at check-in.
- Veteran Cords: Veteran students will receive cords at check-in.
- PTK Honors Stole: Members of Phi Theta Kappa receive their gold stoles at the earlier PTK Induction Ceremony.

From the West: Take 84 East to Exit 50 (Main Street). Take Exit 50 toward Main St. Use the left lane to merge onto Chapel St S. Turn left onto Trumbull St. Use the middle lane to turn left onto Main St.
From the East: Take 84 West to Exit 50 (US-44 W/Morgan Street). Follow I-91 S/Main St. Take a slight right onto Main St.
From the North: Take 91 South to Exit 32A – 32B (Trumbull St). Continue straight onto Trumbull St.
From the South: Take 91 North to Exit 32A – 32B (Market St). Use the left lane to take Exit 32A-32B for Trumbull St. Continue straight onto Trumbull St.

- For guests with a Parking Voucher only: Main Street Lot

- Parking Vouchers picked up at the Bookstore are provided for this location only.
- For guests with a without a Parking Voucher:
- Parking is available at the additional locations shown below for $5.00
ADA Parking: All lots have parking for vehicles ; the closest lot is 58 Chapel Street North.

2024 Graduation Evening Price Sheet
• On Tuesday, May 21st from 4:30-7:00PM on the CT State -Asnuntuck Campus, a studio set up for a Cap and Gown style session will be set up. This is a studio style session where posed photos can be created. This can be in the pictures with those special people and/or you alone in your cap and gown.
Please use the form CAP & GOWN. Be sure to bring it to the session on Tuesday.
• On the evening of May 23rd during the ceremony, we will capture the moment you
receive your diploma. You can view and order these photos by:
