Entrepreneur
This program seeks to assist people in our region who wish to explore starting their own profit or not-for profit organization, or work in an entrepreneurial department of a larger organization. This program intentionally contains elective courses for students in the arts, media, social services, education (or more traditional business fields) to develop their skills both in a field of choice and entrepreneurship.
Outcomes:
This certificate seeks to assist people in our region who wish to explore starting their own profit or not-for-profit organization, or work in an entrepreneurial department of a larger organization. This certificate intentionally contains elective courses for students in the arts, media, social services, education (or more traditional business fields) to develop their skills both in a field of choice and entrepreneurship.
Employment Information:
This certificate helps students develop the skills needed to start up and run a new business or grow their existing business.
As of the Fall 2023 semester, the Community Colleges will merge and become Connecticut State Community College (CT State), a statewide college comprised of all Connecticut’s current community college locations. Business Administration: Entrepreneurship Certificate (BENR-CC)
This short-term Certificate can be earned to gain employment while continuing to work toward an AS degree.
