Introduction to College Reading and Writing

Prepares students for the reading and writing work of ENG* 101 and other college-level courses by integrating the development of reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.  Students will focus on understanding, responding to, and analyzing the ideas of others.  Students learn and practice specific college-level skills through critical reading and writing assignments, class discussions, lecture, group activities, and workshops. A final grade of C or better in ENG 093 is required in order to enroll in ENG 101. Offered: Not regularly offered.
