An examination of painting, sculpture, architecture, and graphics from pre-history to the Renaissance. Gaining an understanding of art from these periods and an awareness of its historical significance are emphasized. The study of art is approached through slide lectures, discussions, papers, and gallery/museum visits. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
