Continuing Education
Our Continuing Education Division provides lifelong learning opportunities and personal enrichment for students of all ages by offering courses and programs that include credit and non-credit courses and workshops, consultation and customized training for area businesses and industries, workforce training and retraining programs, and other activities to enhance local economic development efforts. We offer Healthcare, Comprehensive and Career certificate programs, Professional Development and Youth programs both on campus and online.
Personal Enrichment & Personal Development Classes
Asnuntuck Community College’s Personal Enrichment Programs are designed for individuals in all stages of life and career. We have everything from Aromatherapy classes, Real Estate, Ebay, Yoga, Boating and more! See our Course Catalog for more information.
Workforce & Professional Development Training
Workforce Development programs are brought to individuals and employers through existing programs or customized training by our Business and Industry Division.The division works with other areas of the College, employers, and with community organizations to identify needs and to provide educational programs to meet those needs.
Healthcare & Personal Services Certificate Programs
Our healthcare certifications give you the skills you need to enter or advance a career in the healthcare field. Many of our certificate programs lead you to national or state credentials / licensing.

Our Mission: The Department of Workforce Development & Continuing Education staff is dedicated to providing relevant programs and services to the general public, business and industry, nonprofit organizations, professional associations, and others, and to promoting the College as a focus of lifelong learning. The Department of Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Asnuntuck Community College was established to provide opportunities for lifelong learning for residents of the College’s service area.
