Director Mickey Hockstedder (Mark Vogel) can barely stand the outrageous acting styles of his actresses – and that includes his wife, Clarise (Phaedra Beckwith). Imagine his surprise when a complete stranger named Lionel (Jim York) appears, claiming that the lead actor Daryl has been murdered. Even after Lt. Barnes (Howard Epstein) arrives, no one believes Lionel, especially since Daryl is known for shenanigans of this sort … so is he dead or not? Daryl’s girlfriend (Jordan Liddell) doesn’t know. Wisecracking actresses Margo (Anna Neild) and Lucille (Helen Malinka) think they know everything. And icy socialite Barbara (Sue Reese) is hard to read. As they rehearse their upcoming original play – the murder mystery they’re rehearsing starts to look amazingly like real life. This comedic whodunit will keep the audience guessing until the final moment.
