ACC will be hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic on campus next week in partnership with Griffin Health from Monday, October 4th through Friday, October 8th. The clinic will be held in the back of the Children’s Reading Room from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. each day.
Appointments are not required and the clinic is open to the community. Because it is open to the public, we will be using the exterior (rear) entrance door to the Reading Room for the clinic.
As if your health and the health of those around you is not incentive enough, those who participate and receive their initial vaccine will receive a $20 gift card to Amazon!
The folks from Griffin Health will have all three vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) available.
Booster shots will be available only for those who qualify and who received their 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine at least 6 months ago. At this point, Griffin Health has informed us that in order to qualify for the booster, you must be:
- 65 years of age and older; or
- 18-64 years old with underlying conditions/comorbidity; or
- Be immunocompromised (with a condition diagnosed by a physician); or
- An adult who works in a job that leaves you at high risk of exposure to COVID-19, including healthcare workers and teachers (faculty/staff at CSCU institutions are eligible for the booster given our setting).
