Virtual Transfer Events
ACC Transfer Services is committed to providing students the opportunity to connect with representatives from 4-year colleges and universities. Although on-campus visits are not being held this semester, we are excited to present virtual tours, one-on-one meetings, and group chat sessions from visiting institutions.
Information sessions will be continuously added, so be sure to check back frequently!
Events from Elms College:
- Learn more about earning your Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Elms College. Email Kelly Zieba to register for the December 1st Zoom Information Session!
- Elms College will be holding evening Zoom Meeting hours for ACC Students on Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Click here to pre-register.
Massachusetts State Universities:
- On Wednesday, December 2nd from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m., you are welcome to join any state university’s digital table at any time. Simply click on the logo of the state university you are interested in to join their chat room. Ongoing Virtual Sessions
These colleges and universities have recurring workshops or instantly available transfer tools. Prospective students are invited to coordinate their own virtual meeting times or access the on-demand information and tours.
Becker College will be hosting Virtual Transfer Table Days on Mondays-Thursdays. Learn about how to transfer to Becker and the transfer policy, tuition discounts, application process, and more by visiting https://apply.becker.edu/portal/visit-gps-online.
Curry College is hosting a virtual Open House for students this Fall. Prospective students who are interested in an one-on-one virtual meeting or who would like a tentative credit evaluation based on classes they have already taken can schedule an appointment with Kiera Mahoney. Northern Vermont University has virtual visits that occur throughout the week. Interested students can register via https://www.northernvermont.edu/admissions-and-aid/applying-nvu/visit.
Paul Smith’s College offers virtual visits throughout the year, Tuesday-Friday at 12:30pm. This includes a meeting with an Admissions Counselor, current student and faculty in your academic area of choice along with a virtual tour of the college. Quinnipiac University’s virtual offerings provide prospective students an excellent opportunity to learn about the Quinnipiac Campus. Students can register for virtual interviews (Monday-Friday), virtual information sessions, and virtual tours. UConn has developed a series of virtual experiences, including virtual tours, student chats and 1-on-1 chats with admissions representatives limited to 15 minutes that provide an opportunity for students to talk about the application process, academic programs, etc. UConn’s current virtual experience offerings are accessible by visiting https://admissions.uconn.edu/virtual-experiences.
Join the UMaine Transfer Admission Team for a Virtual Transfer Information Session to learn more about The University of Maine, Orono! The session will cover information on academics, life at UMaine, the application process, transfer credits, etc. Feel free to submit questions with your registration, but live questions will also be welcomed throughout the session. The University of Massachusetts – Amherst offers Transfer Thursday Information Sessions: A 25-minute virtual event for prospective students that will feature 10 things you should know about the transfer process, as well as information about applying for Financial Aid at UMass Amherst. Westfield State University has multiple campus visitation options for students which include self-guided tours, student tours, and a variety of virtual meetings. Smith & Mt. Holyoke Colleges
ACC will virtually host representatives from Smith College’s Ada Comstock Scholars Program and Mt. Holyoke College’s Frances Perkins Scholars Program on Oct. 7th at 12pm. Contact Amanda Looney-Goetz for more information.
College Transfer Fair
Each Fall, ACC hosts a Transfer Fair with colleges and universities throughout the region in attendance. We’re looking forward to bringing you this experience again this year – in a new and exciting way!
