Your local community college, Asnuntuck, has the perfect antidote to your holiday stress this November. For starters, not one but two chances to become more deeply connected to Reiki energy. Reiki II runs Nov. 2 and Nov. 16.
Nestled neatly in between, ACC’s Essential Oils class can soothe and relax while the finished product can serve as a last-minute stocking stuffer, too! This class runs on Nov. 11.
How about these apples? On Thursday, Nov. 19, Jeanie Beresford will instruct students on the fine art of Apple Cider Vinegar making.
On a healthier note, those looking to be proactive about their probiotics will definitely want to check out the Fermenting class, bubbling up on campus Nov. 17.
Those looking to excel at Excel will also want to note that our Intermediate Excel class is slated for Nov. 3. Whether you are looking to advance at your present career – or break into a new industry – ACC’s November workforce development courses are ensure to enhance your marketability. Veteran instructor Margaret Demarino will be offering workshops on Dump The Drama: Managing Workplace Emotions Nov. 2, Always Know What To Say When Handling Workplace Communication Nov. 19, A Work In Progress: Supervising for Success Nov. 20 and Technical Writing Nov.30. Facilitator/coach Mark Petruzzi supplements these offerings with his own Proactive, Positive Conflict Management Nov. 12 and Be Your Own Coach Nov. 17.
Lastly, the College’s very popular Healthcare Career Certificate programs offer the opportunity to experience both sides of the spa experience this month. Massage Therapy, with day, night and weekend options, is currently enrolling.
