Just an update on The Pantry @ ACC. We were just given a donation of 1000 pounds of non- perishable food from the Connecticut Future Farmers of America at their IMAGE 2016 fundraiser. This event was sponsored by Johnson Brunetti Retirement & Investment Specialists. Johnson Brunetti also donated funding for software for The Pantry @ ACC. As many of you have seen, the Enfield Food Shelf has already been donating fruits, vegetables, breads and more to our students. ShopRite of Enfield has given support to our food shelf as well. The ACC Foundation has supported this initiative by working with Easy Pickin’s of Enfield to donate a share of produce to our students. President Lombella has given 100% support to this initiative and is currently having a space at the college remodeled to house The Pantry. Check out the newest episode of the TV show Changing Lives on Cox Public Access Television devoted to The Pantry @ ACC. We are hoping to be open early spring semester. If you would like any more information or to donate to The Pantry @ ACC please email Sherry Paquette at email@example.com or call 860-253-1206.
