Asnuntuck Community College (ACC) held an event with the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving (HFPG) and the Connecticut Department of Social Services (DSS) at ACC’s Enfield campus on Thursday, June 22nd in recognition of the $227,600 grant that the HFPG awarded to ACC. The funding, to be distributed over a three year period, will assist the college in partially supporting a full-time Success Coach to work with Supplemental Nutrition Employment and Training Program (SNAP) students. Funds will also be used to provide student support, as well as to develop and implement a computer literacy class that will be offered four times each year.
