Welcome to the Fall 2020 Semester

All students must start here and complete a few steps to help us maintain a safe and healthy campus and help you be successful in your courses. This fall all courses will include an online component – content or activities like assignments, discussions, or quizzes – that you will access using our course management system, Blackboard.

  • Select the tab below that matches your status and complete the steps under that tab.
  • Watch! Menu-Driven Walk-Through of NetID and Password Reset Setup, and Contact Info Update  (in Video Tutorials below)

New Students – Setup Your Login (NetID)

myCommNet is the web portal that makes it easier for you to: register for classes, check your academic progress, access email, complete coursework in Blackboard, and manage your college finances. The address is an easy one to remember: my.commnet.edu. To get into myCommNet, you first need to set up your NetID (login credentials).

Returning Students – Need Help With NetID

  • Look up your NetID and write it down if you can’t remember what it is.
