Instructors Diana Ricci Gunther and Terry Stearns will offer 10-week sessions of Kripalu “All Levels” Yoga at Asnuntuck Community College this spring. The sessions will focus on gentle, therapeutic yoga poses. The instructors will provide students with easy-to-understand instructions in a fun, low-key atmosphere.
Yoga has been shown to tone and strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, boost immunity, lower blood pressure, improve sleep and promote relaxation, just to name a few of its benefits. Practicing yoga does not require expensive equipment or athletic skills. Participants are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing and to bring a yoga mat and a blanket.
Monday night classes are being offered from March 19th to May 21st and June 11th to August 13th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday sessions take place from March 6th to May 8th and May 22nd to July 24th, also from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The cost of a 10-week series is just $112. That is a little more than $10 per class. Walk-ins, are not allowed so register today!
