Students from Asnuntuck Professor Emerita Edwina Trentham’s Creative Writing class will read their short stories and poetry, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Coffee House in Café II at Asnuntuck Community College on Monday, November 18th. During the past semester, students in the class have been reading and writing stories and poetry about many different subjects, and the audience will have a chance to hear the results—a fascinating variety of voices and topics.
The following students will be sharing their work: Andrée Beaudoin, Diane Boudreau, Jeremy Chevalier, Emilea Gartrell, Christine Mundell, Aaron Rosato, Samantha Runyon, Austin Theobald, and Myles Walsh, all from Enfield, as well as Cece Cintron from Windsor, Jamie Crepeau from Wethersfield, Eric Giuliano from Suffield, Kaitlin Petrone from Ellington, Katie Riordan from Vernon, Jay Thumar from Middletown, and Keogh Vidal from Windsor Locks.
A poetry open mic will be part of the reading throughout the evening, which is sponsored by Asnuntuck's poetry journal, Freshwater. The reading is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and copies of Freshwater will be on sale. For more information contact Edwina Trentham at 860-253-3105 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
