This is the capstone course for the Massage Therapy major and should be taken in the student’s last semester. This course provides an opportunity for students to complete, present, and receive feedback of their research projects. The projects will be evaluated by peers and faculty. It also provides students an opportunity to reflect upon and integrate their course learning with their life and work experiences and to relate their learning to the massage therapy field.
MAS+ 295 creates an alternate track to the AS in Massage Therapy for those that currently hold a valid Massage Therapy license in CT or MA. Students with a valid license would go through Prior Learning Assessment at Charter Oak State College and receive credits for most of the major requirements. Interested students should meet with the program coordinator for more information.
