Whether you are seeking personal enrichment, professional development or pure relaxation from Asnuntuck’s Continuing Education division in 2015, your chance to do so is almost going..going..gone.

But not “Auctioneering For Fun, Profit or Overcoming Your Fear of Public Speaking” kicks off Dec. 1 at Asnuntuck. This new, two evening class will enlighten students on everything from auction types, buyer’s premiums and the preview to the fabled, rapid-fire auctioneer chant.

Meanwhile, those looking to destress over the holidays will find soothing sanctuary in both Asnuntuck’s Kripalu Yoga classes and newly opened Spa Clinic.

The former is open to all levels of Yoga practitioners and has 10 week offerings beginning on both Mondays (Dec. 7-Feb. 22, 2016) and Wednesdays (Dec. 2-Feb. 17, 2016). The latter features ACC’s Esthetician and Nail Tech students providing an array of highly affordable, quality services weekdays from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. through Dec. 7. For more information on the Spa Clinic or to make an appointment, please call 860-253-3808.

For those who can’t wait until Spring to break into the fast-growing healthcare industry with one of the college’s well-known short-term Healthcare Career certificate programs, you don’t have to. Massage Pathology, starting Dec. 1, is a gateway into Asnuntuck’s Massage Therapy certificate program. Medical Terminology, starting Mondays on Dec. 14, can be used to launch either the Medical Coding and Billing or Registered Medical Assistant tracks.

Keep an eye out for ACC’s Continuing Education Spring 2016 catalog, in homes Dec. 19. For more information on any Continuing Education programs, please call 860-253-3066, 860-253-3034 or email AS-ContinuingEd@asnuntuck.edu
