Asnuntuck Community College (ACC) will hold their first free Fall Music and Cultural Festival on October 4th from 4-8 p.m. Held on Asnuntuck’s front lawn, the event is being sponsored by the Asnuntuck Student Government Association, the ACC Diversity Committee and ACC Foundation.

Performing as part of the festival, will be Rhythm and Blues, Soul and Jazz performers Tony Harrington and Touch (in photo); West African performers Jocelyn Pleasant and the Lost Tribe; Mariachi Mexican band Fiesta del Norte; Native American music from Allan Madahbee and the rock alternative sounds of Emperors of Entropy.

Powder Hollow Brewery will be selling beer, Enfield’s newest business R Dee Winery will serve wine, and food trucks (Naury’s Somalian, Tacos La Rosa Express, Smokin BBQ and Jeff’s Kettle Corn) will also be at the event.  Henna tattoos, a mechanical bull and opportunities to make dream catchers and lucky bamboo, will also be available. Bring your own lawn chair and a non-perishable donation for Asnuntuck’s Food Pantry.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held in Asnuntuck’s new Tower Lobby space.
