Asnuntuck Community College’s Interim Dean of Students and Campus Facilities Tim St. James, hosts March’s edition of “Changing Lives.”  His guests are Joan Lawson, Chair of Enfield Together Coalition, Andrea Mashiak, Youth Counselor, Enfield Youth and Family Services, and Kelly Fisher, Founder and CEO for Alex Fisher Foundation and Alex’s Army.  The show addresses the partnership between Asnuntuck and the Enfield Together Coalition (ETC) and what ETC does on campus and in the community. The group discussed the CT Healthy Campus Initiative’s Opioid Education and Awareness Program. Through this grant, the college has received $10,000 each of the past two academic years to enhance on campus opioid education and awareness activities.

Andrea Mashiak also shared information about the Youth Services radio show that airs twice a month on Asnuntuck’s radio station WACC 107.7.
