Asnuntuck Community College’s Corridor Gallery gives students, alumni and visiting artists a gallery to showcase their artwork. Located adjacent to the President’s Corridor, the gallery rotates work throughout the year. Brianna Cruz, a current ACC student had her Persistent Isolation exhibit on display during the first two weeks of October. A student at ACC since 2014, Cruz would like to eventually go into animation. Vice President of Communications for the college’s Phi Theta Kappa honor society, she has enrolled in a couple of ACC art courses and has plans to graduate this coming May.

ACC Alumni will take center stage next when their Alumni Exhibition takes to the walls of the Corridor Art Gallery through October 31st. The Gallery is free and open to the public during the college’s business hours. Artists’ work that will be featured as part of the exhibition include: Noor Zaben (photography), Andrew Baris (photography), Victor Tobon (painting and drawing), Anthony Candelaria (painting), Shoban Keenan (painting), Victoria Oliver (drawing) and C. M. Pauluh (photography).

Registration for ACC’s Winter Session begins on October 19th. Art Appreciation will be one of several 3 credit on-line courses offered for the three-week Winter Session that runs December 28th-January 14th.
