Westfield Bank has generously donated an additional $5,000 to Asnuntuck Community College (ACC) to be used for a new playground to be constructed outside, adjacent to the Reading Room location. The College anticipates construction for the playground to begin this spring. The bank has donated a total of $15,000 for this project since 2015.
The free childcare service offered to registered students, staff & faculty at Asnuntuck Community College, was established in 1974.
The Children’s Reading Room is unique in that it functions on a cooperative basis. Each parent is required to volunteer two-hours per week regardless of how much time they utilize the service for their child. This service is available for when parents are on campus.
