New Students

Welcome! Students must first apply and be admitted to CT State before meeting with an advisor. Prior to your meeting, please ensure placement documents and transcripts are on file with the Admissions office. This will ensure you receive the best advising experience. Without placement information and/or transfer credits in the system, the GP Advising team will be limited in how they can assist you.

Continuing Students

Currently enrolled)
Continuing students are encouraged to connect with their Guided Pathways (GP) advisor to prepare for registration, and their faculty advisor or program coordinator to learn more about their degree path. To guarantee time with your advisor, please schedule an appointment. Advisors can meet with you in-person, virtually, or over the phone. Same day service is not guaranteed without an appointment.

How do I make an appointment with my Guided Pathways (GP) Advisor?

To access your email account, log-in to myCTState and look for “View/Access College Email.” If you cannot find any emails from your advisor, please reach out to the Guided Pathways Advising main office.
