MISSIONStudent Ambassadors

The Student Ambassador Program provides Asnuntuck students interested in developing leadership and communication skills with the opportunity to serve as advocates and role models to prospective and current students. Ambassadors educate students about the many resources available on campus and encourage involvement and engagement in campus life.

Student Ambassadors perform various duties and services as an ACC representative. Duties include, but are not limited to: leading ACC campus tours, ushering events, representing the college in outreach capacities, meeting and greeting campus visitors, and attending mandatory student leadership and training sessions.

Khalil Elmokaddem
Major- Bio Transfer (Desires to go in to X-ray tech)

Khalil loves meeting people, talking, and helping others whenever he can. Being a bit of an introvert does not stop him for taking on leadership roles. He was born and raised in Suffield with his whole life, and Khalil loves art.

Brandi Moore
Major- General Studies to Social Work

Brandi loves to do mentorships, having safe spaces and creating great conversations with other. Brandi is from Chicopee, MA. She loves reading/studying her bible, spending time with family and loved ones, and exploring new places.

Emma Rubacha
Major- Registered Medical Assisting

Emma is a cat mom of two kittens: Salem and Raven. If you’re into astrology Emma is a Virgo. She wants to be in the medical field one day and Asnunutck is her steppingstone to that dream. She is from Feeding Hills MA. Some of Emma hobbies include listening to music (she really enjoys Iron Maiden), drawing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Miriam Taub
Major-General Studies

Miriam deeply values being in nature and spending time with family and loved ones. Miriam enjoys being spontaneous and adventuring always! Originally, she was from Columbus, Ohio. As of 2015 she is now a Suffield, CT resident.  Some of Miriam’s hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, cooking and being with my family. She loves learning and preserving to new heights.

Students interested in serving as a Student Ambassador are urged to apply during the fall semester for the spring semester. The deadline to apply for the spring 2023 semester is Friday, November 18th.

Student Ambassador Job Description 

Application form

To be eligible for the Student Ambassador program, students must:

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 after completing at least 6 credits at ACC (Continuing Education students must be in good academic standing.)
  • Maintain a good academic standing or a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75
  • Have a willingness to be a student ambassador for two consecutive semesters
  • Have the ability and desire to participate in on-campus events

Ambassadors must maintain a caring, service-orientated attitude with respect to the college and program objectives. This attitude is represented in willingness to attend all program training sessions and serve in capacities deemed appropriate by the program advisors.
