Technology Studies (A.S.)

The Technology Studies degree is offered system-wide. It consists of course work in engineering, technology, industrial technology, mathematics, sciences, and foundation requirements that provide a solid comprehensive background for continuation in a four-year technology degree program. A grade average of “C” is required for automatic continuation at Central Connecticut State University’s School of Technology, where you can earn a bachelor of science degree in engineering technology, industrial technology, or technology education.

The College of Technology is a specialized curriculum that allows a student to begin technology or engineering studies at any of the state’s twelve Community Colleges with the ultimate goal of achieving a 4-year, baccalaureate degree in Technology at Central Connecticut State University of Charter Oak State College. The curriculum is designed to serve as the first two years of the Bachelor of Science degree.
