Credit for Prior Learning

Earning college credit while in high school is a great way to save money and earn a college credential faster. Asnuntuck awards transfer credit for Advanced Placement (AP), providing a certain score is achieved on the exam. Credit for AP course work may be granted to entering students on the basis of scores on the AP Examination. Scores of 3 or higher are granted degree credit for equivalent courses. Please reference the chart below for information about course equivalency for AP credit. Students are responsible for having official AP Examination scores sent to the Asnuntuck Admissions Office directly from the College Board for an evaluation.
